About Us
The business was started up in 2002 (as CB Catering ) with the aim of providing top quality catering "on the hoof !" at shows and events in Devon and Cornwall, with the emphasis on locally sourced, quality produce. Thus, was created The Gastrodome Fine Food & Beverage Emporium.
Our Thousands of Well-Fed, Satisfied Customers, since, will agree that we’ve certainly achieved that aim, and nothing has changed our commitment. |

Many people's idea of a Burger Van tends to be non too pleasant, expecting greasy Burgers & Hot Dogs of highly dubious origin served by untrained operatives from a less than hygienic vehicle. Unfortunately, this is all too often the case.
We were never going to take that approach to mobile catering & in everything we do, Quality & Hygiene are foremost.
We work closely With the Environmental Health Office.
Operatives are trained & hold Food Hygiene Certificates.
We call them The Gastronauts!
However, in the unlikely case of anything going wrong, for your security & peace of mind, we are fully covered by Public and Employers Liability Insurance.
In response to public demand, in 2004 we added the Professional Barbeque Service & in 2005 the superb Gastroroast - Bavarian Hog Roast was introduced to provide a greater choice of Quality Outdoor Event Catering options.

We believe that we are very fortunate to live in South Devon, from where some of the finest food produced in Britain can be found. We cook & serve local produce whenever possible and are members of South Hams Food & Drink Association and ´Taste of the West´
